Lol I just thought of a melody and it took me like ten minutes to transcribe but it’s somehow in 9/8 time. How and why does my brain work like this???

I just came up with a melody for a March song that I’ve named Pioneer Lichen. I was thinking about those Timelapse videos on YouTube and made up the name about the adventure and growth of a patch of Lichen. It’s very upbeat and very fast, and the melody is inspired by Barnum&Bailey, which I played in my first Clinic band and is one of my favorite band songs I’ve played. I’ll finish it most likely in April or May, depending on how much I want to add, but because this is a less experimental song, it’ll take a little less time. Also, y’know, I went through over five versions of Elise’s Milk Factory over a year and made it with no knowledge of music and very little material or direction, so this shouldn’t take too long. Also, I already know what instruments I’m going to use, which should make it easier. I’ll post again when it’s close to being finished :)

Holy shit. Elise’s Milk Factory is out!!!!!!! I’m so excited and I absolutely love it :DDDD

I’ve been working on my song ‘Elise’s Milk Factory’ for a few months now and I’ll release it this week. I’m only 13, so it isn’t much, but I’m very proud. I made it on an online website, and that limits the potential a lot, so I might change to a better platform after another song or two. I’m still thinking about what my next song should be, and then I have to make it, so it’ll be a while.

I’m totally self-taught, so Im just learning how to make music from analyzing my favorite composer’s songs. I might go to college for music composition, but until then I might just be an ok composer, and I’m fine with that I guess.
